　　克劳迪欧（弗兰·克兰兹 Fran Kranz 饰）和女友希罗交往多年，两人之间感情十分稳定，携手步入婚姻殿堂的感情结局已是板上钉钉，目前，两人正怀着激动的心情筹备着他们盛大的婚礼。自己的婚姻大事有了着落，这对新人们便开始“多管闲事”起来，两人的朋友班尼迪克（埃里克斯·德尼索夫 Alexis Denisof 饰）和碧翠丝（艾米·阿克 Amy Acker 饰）成为了他们的目标。　　碧翠丝是一位典型的现代女性，她思维活络，伶牙俐齿，有着不属于男子的精神气。而班尼迪克则是典型的大男子主义，他甚至有终身不婚的大胆想法，当这一对性格针锋相对的男女碰到一起，少不了唇枪舌剑锋芒毕露，不过，感情的萌芽亦在火热的交锋之中逐渐茁壮。

　　After serving two years on a military outpost in the middle of an ocean – four soldiers are waiting for a new crew to replace them. When the long-awaited boat finally appears, it’s empty with no relief on board.  1961年，我国国民经济正处于严重困难时期，中共中央起草了《人民公社工作条例（草案）》（简称《60条》）。4月1日，国家主席刘少奇回故乡湖南，考察农村工作。当他看见一双双饥饿的眼睛和一张张狼吞虎咽的嘴时，对《60条》是否符合农村实情产生了疑问。他召开干部座谈会听取意见，与会者却闪烁其辞。刘少奇于是到群众中去，与老百姓直接交流，了解到了人们对公共食堂的反感。他把得到的情况写信向毛主席汇报。
